$35 million: Elon Musk buys luxury estate for his 11 children and their mothers

Billionaire Elon Musk has reportedly decided to invest in a large property in Texas to reunite a large number of his eleven children, as well as two of his partners or ex-wives.

Children, ex-wives, and a father... Will the entire Elon Musk family be reunited under the same roof? No one knows, but the billionaire seems to be doing everything he can to make it happen. According to the New York Times, relayed by Vanity Fair, the CEO of Tesla, X, and SpaceX has reportedly purchased a vast 1,400-square-meter mansion in Austin, Texas, in the greatest secrecy. A large outbuilding located behind the villa also reportedly includes six bedrooms. But why invest in such a property, estimated at $35 million?

If price isn't an issue for him—he's currently the richest man on the planet, worth $268 billion according to Bloomberg—he wants to reunite a large part of his family, according to several sources at the New York Times. Elon Musk is the father of twelve children, one of whom died shortly after birth, all from three women from whom he is separated. He has even expressed to several of his close friends his wish to see more of his children, especially the younger ones, and for them to "be part of other people's lives."
