Office des Changes: New strategy for the period 2025-2029

The said strategy, structured around six priority axes: regulatory innovation, intelligent control, modernization of statistical production, digital transformation, improvement of the user experience, and responsible governance, embodies a renewed vision of public action.

"This strategy, guided by the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, builds on the achievements of previous action programs while integrating developments in the national and international environment," said Driss Benchikh, Director General of the Foreign Exchange Office.

According to him, this roadmap aims to align institutional priorities with user expectations and respond to emerging challenges with efficiency and agility. It should be noted that the chosen guidelines reflect the desire to evolve the foreign exchange regulatory framework, implement an intelligent and targeted control system for high-risk areas, improve the quality of statistical production for public and private decision-makers, accelerate the digital transition, and transform user relations.

Thus, the first area, on regulatory innovation, aims to simplify the regulatory framework to enhance the clarity, readability, and accessibility of foreign exchange regulations.

The second area aims to develop intelligent control of financial flows for lasting trust and a resilient economy, while the third area aims to strengthen the statistical function for informed decision-making and increased information sovereignty.
