The McLaren driver thus secured his second consecutive victory, his fourth in 2025, bringing him within eight points of Oscar Piatri in the drivers' standings. Meanwhile, Frenchman Pierre Gasly (Alpine) had a very strong race, finishing sixth after a long period of resistance from Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari, 4th).
